Embracing The Mission of God: loving Huntsville

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve…” (Mark 10:45)

God has called His people into active participation in His mission from the beginning of time.  He has given each disciple of Jesus unique gifts and talents and placed them, we believe, in jobs, schools, and communities where they can work with Him in what He is doing in the world. For followers of Jesus, living daily in the mission of God means that every moment and interaction has the potential to contribute to the growth of the reign of God in our world.  We participate in the mission of God because we follow Jesus and believe that He still sends His disciples into the world as He was sent by the Father.  A life of mission announces at every opportunity the coming of the Kingdom of God.
