MAYFAIR CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Mayfair's Child Development Center exists to serve our community's families. The center's teachers and caregivers are dedicated to providing children with an educational experience in an atmosphere of love. MCDC teachers recognize that learning for young children can be both fun and challenging.

Day Care

Students in the above classes may stay part time from 8:15am-12:30pm or full time from 7:30am-5:30pm in a supervised daycare program. Should there be other openings in the afternoon session, parents have the opportunity to reserve spaces for the children by contacting the staff one day in advance.

Curriculum

Our curriculum includes daily Bible study. The program is designed to stimulate interest, develop capabilities, and meet the needs of every child. MCDC offers meaningful early childhood experiences to encourage the total growth of its students.

The 12-month to 2 year-old classes use thematic units for instruction. Beginning with the 2 year-olds, teachers use the Abeka curriculum, a christian and phonic-based curriculum that gives children a solid foundation for beginning reading and writing. Children also engage in other educational activities, such as practicing with numbers.

Once a week a structured Music Class and Library time is taught to older twos and above.
