Who are we?

CLICK ON "OUR CORE BELIEFS" TO READ ABOUT WHAT OUR CHURCH BELIEVES:

We're a loving and welcoming church that would love nothing more than to have the chance to meet you. We are blessed to have young families, strong ministries for children & teenagers, an active young adults group, thriving senior adults and loving members of all ages, backgrounds, & experiences. We are known in our community as a loving, serving & welcoming church.

We want to be a church that reflects the Kingdom of Heaven in every way. We celebrate diversity. We believe every person is a person of immeasurable worth. And we believe that everyone can use their God given gifts for the benefit of the church & the glory of God.

We want to be a church that is Spirit led, growing in our relationship with Jesus & sharing the love of God with those around us. It's our hope that when people come to Mayfair what they find is a family of faith – a group of people who are striving to love God & love each other well.

We also want to be a people of uncommon generosity. We believe that we serve a generous God who has given us everything! It's our hope that our generosity reflects the goodness and kindness our Father has lavished on us.

When you come to Mayfair on Sunday, you'll see people just like you. Some will be dressed up, others in blue jeans. You'll enjoy great a cappella worship as we all gather to sing songs that speak of our praise to God for who He is & all He has done. You'll get to share in Communion, a moment in our worship every week where we pause and remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. You'll hear a message from the Bible that will help you in your daily life.

WE WANT TO BE...

A Christ-Centered People

Everything about who we are and what we do is interpreted and understood in the light of the life, death, and life again of Jesus Christ.

A Loving People

Because God first loved us, we live as reflections of that redemptive love in the world.

A Discipling People

Jesus still calls His people to come and follow Him as His disciples, and we invite others to join us as Jesus transforms all of us more into His image.

A Missional People

Our God is a missional God, and as disciples of Jesus we are called into His mission as active participants.

A Worshipping People

Because God is worthy of our worship; the church must be a place that loves and values others just as God does.

An Accepting People

All people are created in the image of God; the church must be a place that loves and values others just as God does.

A Grateful People

We are defined by an attitude of gratefulness for what God has done in our lives, and we share with the world what we have been freely given.

A Hopeful People

Our life in Christ infuses us with the hope for present blessings, and for sharing His eternal glory upon His full return.
