Gather with your family.

God has given those who trust in and follow Him a great treasure, the Holy Spirit of God. Name three reasons God sent us his Holy Spirit. (For help, reread the final paragraph of this weeks Wonder of the Week.)

Helper - "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." -John 14:26

Comforter - "I ask the Father in his great glory to give you the power to be strong in spirit. He will give you that strength through his Spirit." - Ephesians 3:16

Guide - "So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants." - Galatians 5:16-17a

God has given us the Holy Spirit to help us live lives that reflect God's Son, Jesus. The Holy Spirit comforts us when we are afraid, alone, or scared. And the Holy Spirit guides us in right living and in reading and understanding His Word.

End your time together by praying as a family. Thank God for sending His Holy Spirit to live inside of each of us.
