Far Side of the Moon
Gather with your family.
Go around the room and have everyone name something they learned. What stuck out to you?
Have you ever felt alone or far from God? When you feel alone you can remember that there's no place you'll ever go where God will not be with you. Even though Michael Collins probably felt alone in space, he wasn't! God was always with him just like God is always with you!
On Sunday morning in the elementary hallway we began a new unit called "In Exile." Our Big Picture Question and answer for that unit (that we will be learning for the next three weeks) is "Where is God? God is in all places at all time and is always with His people." Our Key Passage for this unit, which is also the verse from this Wonder of the week is Zephaniah 3:17 which says, "The Lord your God is with you. The mighty One will save you." Try memorizing that together as a family.
End your time together by praying as a family.
Consider using the prayer included in the Wonder of the Week Family Devotional or pray your own prayer.
