Waiting For A Shooting Star

Friendships That Last

Gather with your family.

Go around the room and have everyone name something they learned. What stuck out to you?

Have you ever seen a shooting star? Did you know that shooting stars are actually meteors that are burning up as they make their way to earth?

Have you ever had a friend who did something to you that you didn't like? In those times, it can be easy to avoid or ignore them, or even end the friendship. "A true friend is someone who's there in good time, bad times and all time in between," just like Jesus! Read Romans 12:10 together as a family and talk about how you can live "devoted to one another in love" this week.

End your time together by praying as a family.

Consider using the prayer included in the Wonder of the Week Family Devotional or pray your own prayer.
